Manchester United draw Liverpool to stay top
Manchester United played a goalless draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday to stay top of the English Premier League table.
Liverpool dominated the game but were forced to a barren draw by the visiting Red Devils.
With the result, Manchester stay top of the EPL with 37 points after 18 games while Liverpool remain fourth on the league table with 34 points from 18 games.
Speaking after the match, Liverpool manager, Jürgen Klopp, said “I think the performance was good enough to win it but to win a game you have to score goals and we didn’t do that. That’s why we have that result and it’s absolutely okay.”
“We didn’t deserve the three points because we didn’t play well enough,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United coach, said after the march. “We didn’t impose ourselves on the game, especially first half. We grew in the game and thought it was there to win in the second half and created two massive chances.”
